Depending on your ability to pump & connect waves and type of use, you can achieve much longer than 1 hour average session.
Purchase multiple remotes and share your sessions. Tow into a wave and while you’re riding the wave, your friend(s) can activate their own handheld remote to call upon the device for pickup. Keep your escort working for you.
Our tech can semi-autonomously follow you behind the wave for those large swell days (offshore break) with long rides. (We’ve also discussed working on a cameraman mode.)

The device can escort you and your friends on a downwinder foiling session with our GPS follow me tech (after getting you and your friends on foil of course). Strap a 6 pack to the device and maybe stop for a beverage break?
In certain wave conditions, it makes sense catch a wave and then have the Wave Escort navigate to a defined GPS rendezvous location far on the outside of the waves where it will wait safely for further commands. The location can be set on-the-fly before catching the wave with the remote.
If the craft happens to be bumped upside down by a swell or wave, we’re working on a design to have it flip over automatically.
With the right foil wing you can have a blast catching even the smallest waves. Waves that would previously be deemed unsuitable for surfing. The waves that surfers just let go by.
Paddling a foilboard into a wave can be challenging. Stop waiting & fighting for a wave and do more riding. There’s plenty of waves for everyone with the capability and locations that this device unlocks. Also great for aging surfers with shoulder injuries.
Surfing causes a concentration of crowds around popular surf breaks which can sometimes lead to overcrowding & bad vibes which kills the fun. Unlock any size wave and open the door to empty spots that would usually be deemed not suitable for surfing. If necessary, use the Wave Escort and tow along your coastline 1/2 mile to find an empty wave.
Forget about trying to pump a heavy standup foil board or the heavy eFoil. The Wave Escort can work with a low/medium volume foil boards.

Right now, we’re focused on optimizing this product for foil surf tow-in. When the technology and physics of power/battery/weight capabilities allow, we plan on adding the ability to tow a traditional surfer. (more drag requires more power & battery)
eFoils are great for cruising flatwater but can be too heavy (typically 70-90 lbs.) for serious wave riding. Tow yourself into a wave with a small foilboard and leave the 40 lb. Wave Escort behind.

It’s not always windy enough to go winging. You’ll find that the Wave Escort is an excellent cross training device to also enjoy glassy conditions.
